JOIN THE CCVI EMAIL LISTCelebrate the holiday season with The Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired (CCVI). The 11th Annual "Holidays In Crestwood," featuring Gingerbread Lane, takes place Dec. 1, 2 and 3 at the Crestwood Shops located on 55th Street between Brookside Boulevard and Oak Street in Kansas City, Mo. The shopping event offers something for everyone, plus 10 percent of the sales go to CCVI, helping children with visual impairments excel in a sighted world.
Thursday, Dec. 1: Evening in Crestwood. Come see what’s new at Crestwood and get into the holiday spirit with the Dickens Carolers and live, miniature reindeer. Be sure to check out the amazing gingerbread creations made by local chefs along Gingerbread Lane. You can bid on your favorite in the silent auction! 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 2: Holidays in Crestwood continues with the Holiday Luncheon. This annual ladies luncheon features an 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. seating at Aixois. The 1 p.m. seating is sold out. The noon seating at Cafe Europa is also sold out. $50 per person; reservations required.
Saturday, Dec. 3: Breakfast with Santa. Meet Santa for a sweet treat at Aixois or Cafe Europa then walk up to The Little House for holiday story time. All seatings are sold out.
Reservations for the Holiday Luncheon and Breakfast With Santa will be accepted beginning 10 a.m. Monday, October 17, on a first come, first served basis. Please call 816-841-2284 ext. 2040 to reserve your seat beginning Oct. 17.
